Go for it. If you feel you may be suitable, then you probably are. An ability to not take yourself too seriously would be an advantage!

Creative?
Creative
Creative people are drawn to careers and activities that enable them to take responsibility for the design, layout or sensory impact of something (visual, auditory etc). They may be drawn towards the traditional artistic pursuits such as painting, sculpture, singing, or music. Or they may show more interest in design, such as architecture, animation, or craft areas, such as pottery and ceramics.

Creative people use their personal understanding of people and the world they live in to guide their work. Creative people like to work in unstructured workplaces, enjoy taking risks and prefer a minimum of routine.

Mark left his job in the Civil Service where he had worked for seven years to join An Garda Síochána at age 29. He was also a member of The Garda Reserve prior to beginning his studies in Templemore which he highly advocates for giving the best insight into the work of the Gardaí.
