Engineers Week, which is held annually by Engineers Ireland is a week long programme of nationwide events with the aim of highlighting the importance of the profession in Ireland.
Engineers Week will land from the 27th February - 4th March 2012 and the chosen theme is ‘Connecting Our Lives’.
The week has grown year on year and in 2011, almost 17,000 participants took part in approximately 250 events nationwide. The aim of the week is to create positive awareness and spark enthusiasm about the engineering profession to people of various ages with little or no engineering background. There will be free events running throughout the country during Engineers Week.
