The Defence Forces are now accepting applications for both General Service and Specialist Appointments as follows:

• General Service (Recruit) - Army
• General Service (Recruit) - Naval Service
• Specialist - Medical Officer
• Specialist - Instrumentalists

Before you decide to make any application request please make sure you understand the age restrictions for the various appointments :

• (Recruit) - Army - You cannot be 25 Years of age or over.
• (Recruit) - Naval Service - You cannot be 27 Years of age or over.
• Specialist - Instrumentalists - You cannot be 28 Years of age or over.

General Service Applications
The Defence Forces are now accepting applications for the following General Service positions. Close of applications is the 22nd April 2012 at 23.59hrs. Candidates can apply for the Army and Navy positions. Only one application per candidate will be accepted for the Army Competition:

As part of the selection process all applicants who meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be invited to attend for Psychometric Testing. More details about this will be available in the coming weeks.
