Organisation Profile
PharmaChemical Ireland comprises approximately 50 companies and is staffed by a full time executive staff. PharmaChemical Ireland is a major sector within IBEC and has access to the various back up and research facilities that IBEC provides for its membership.
The aim of PharmaChemical Ireland is to enhance the environment for further development of the sector in Ireland. PharmaChemical Ireland represents the views of the industry to a wide range of key stakeholders. Key to the work of PharmaChemical Ireland is the participation of its membership base. Member companies are encouraged to participate in the work of the federation at all levels. The philosophy of PharmaChemical Ireland is to be a member driven organisation. Consequently the structures of the association are subject to continual review by its members to ensure their needs are being met.
The greater proportion of our members is drawn from globally based companies. The association maintains an international presence and a working relationship with companies and agencies. It works to maintain and protect Ireland as a primary source for the manufacture of pharmaceutical and chemical products.
