Most people entering the sustainable energy sector are qualified up to 3rd level and come either from directly related couses or from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) based backgrounds. 

What advice do you have for graduates?

Most people entering the sustainable energy sector are qualified up to 3rd level and come either from directly related couses or from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) based backgrounds.

Sustainabel energy academic fellowship awards are available to PhD level through the Irish Research Council for Science, Engineering and Technology (www.ircset.ie)

 

What advice do you have for career changers?
Most people entering the sustainable energy sector are qualified up to 3rd level and come either from directly related couses or from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) based backgrounds. It is anticipated that future opportunities will be available for personnel proficient in additional ICT related skills.
