My third level qualifications, specifically my BA in Law and the MBS in HR strategies have provided knowledge of the strategic perspective which is extremely relevant in my current role.

What aspects of your education have proven most important for your job?
The MBS in Human Resource Strategies has provided me with a strategic perspective on HR and is very relevant to my current role. The Advanced Management Diploma in Leadership is a programme designed for senior management in policing and has proved invaluable in developing a range of skills including negotiation and leadership.
Have you undertaken, or do you plan to undertake any further training as part of your job?
I regularly attend conferences and workshops to ensure I keep up to date with current best practice in the areas for which I hold responsibility.
