What subjects did you take in school and how have these influenced your career path?
I particularly liked business organisation and commerce but I think it is good that we get exposure to as many subject areas when we are young.

What aspects of your education have proven most important for your job?
I think the work ethic that was imposed by the Christian Brothers was fundamental and the DCU model in continuous assessment have been very important and relevant to my job.
Have you undertaken, or do you plan to undertake any further training as part of your job?
I do quite amount of tax lecturing which I enjoy and helps keep me sharp. I hope someday to complete some postgrad tax studies (when those kids get a bit older!).
