Get some experience even if it is voluntary work so that you have an idea if you like the sector and you will have something to talk about at interview.

The Investigative person will usually find a particular area of science to be of interest. They are inclined toward intellectual and analytical activities and enjoy observation and theory. They may prefer thought to action, and enjoy the challenge of solving problems with clever technology. They will often follow the latest developments in their chosen field, and prefer mentally stimulating environments.

Students on the Tourism Awareness Programme are eligible to enter three International competitions: the Research Competition and Award, the Digital Photo Competition and the Travel Writing Competition. Prizes include money and a trip to an international conference.
