Company/Organisation Profile

Alupro Ireland, founded in 2007, is a not for profit organisation set up to help encourage an interest in aluminium packaging recycling. As aluminium packaging is such a small % of the waste stream, by weight it often gets over looked.

Alupro Ireland currently manages the Every Can Counts campaign and supports the Can It! Tidy Towns Competition, the Eco-Alu Art & Design Award with Eco Unesco and previously the An Táisce National Spring Clean – Can Collection with schools and the Wash Squash and Pop Campaign with Repak.

Our aim is to make the use of aluminium packaging more sustainable- the more we recycle, the more sustainable it is. It saves 95% energy and produces 95% less emissions, using recycled aluminium for aluminium packaging products.
