Go for it!  But realise that its not going to be easy and things take time and there are LOTS of sacrifices to make. Also make sure you learn from your mistakes - because you will make them. It is really only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Linguistic?
Linguistic
The Linguistic's interests are usually focused on ideas and information exchange. They tend to like reading a lot, and enjoy discussion about what has been said. Some will want to write about their own ideas and may follow a path towards journalism, or story writing or editing. Others will develop skills in other languages, perhaps finding work as a translator or interpreter. Most Linguistic types will enjoy the opportunity to teach or instruct people in a topic they are interested in.

CPA Ireland Careers Evening

CPA Ireland Skillnet and leading accountancy recruiter Morgan McKinley will hold their annual careers evenings in Cork and Dublin this May.

The evening is specifically tailored for anyone who is considering their next move and will comprise of an informal evening of chat and advice on what lies ahead for you in the world of accounting.

The event will play host to some leading accountancy professionals including Turlough Daly, Senior Accountant with Voxpro featured in the Irish Independent’s “The Business Files” who will speak at the Cork event and Mark Butler form HLB Sheehan Quinn will be offering his advice on working in Practice at the Dublin event. This will be an ideal event to find out how you can earn your CPA accountancy qualification.

Cork: Monday 29 May, Clayton Hotel Cork City, Lapps Quay, Cork, 6.30pm – 7.30pm

Dublin: Tuesday 30 May, CPA Building (17 Harcourt Street), 6.30pm – 7.30pm

CPA Ireland will also be attending the Grad Ireland Summer Fair on June 7th and will be on hand to give advice and answer any questions you may have.
