Realist

Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

The online GP service is set to become a 24/7 business

VideoDoc to double employees in Dublin

VideoDoc will double its workforce from 26 to 55 people in the next year, due to a new expansion of the servie to a 24/7 operation.

VideoDoc have established partnerships with VHI Healthcare, the USI, Beaumont Hospital and the Irish Postmasters Union among others, and this has led to an increased demand. 

The 24/7 service will be available for their annual subscription customers, while pay-as-you-go customers can access the doctor on demand. 

VideoDoc co-founder Mary O’Brien said “Industry experts’ and our own belief is while online doctors will never replace a patient’s own GP, they are growing exponentially.”
