Linguistic

The Linguistic's interests are usually focused on ideas and information exchange. They tend to like reading a lot, and enjoy discussion about what has been said. Some will want to write about their own ideas and may follow a path towards journalism, story writing or editing. Others will develop skills in other languages, perhaps finding work as a translator or interpreter. Most Linguistic types will enjoy the opportunity to teach or instruct people in a topic they are interested in.

Bus Eireann are recruiting Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentices!

The national bus company and Dublin Bus are looking for Apprentices to work in the following locations:

  • Dublin
  • Cork
  • Sligo
  • Waterford
  • Galway
  • Limerick
  • Longford
  • Tralee
  • Thurles
  • Athlone
  • Ballina
  • Stranorlar

The apprentices are trained to the highest possible technical standards and acquire, amongst many other skills, the ability to maintain the various systems associated with modern public service vehicles.

This is a hands-on practical technical education programme which leads to a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate that will give you skills you can take anywhere in the world. If you want to drive your career forward check it out today.

Placements will commence in Autumn 2019 and applicants must be at least 16 years of age, on or before the 1st August, 2019. Each candidate will be required to undertake aptitude tests and the results will be used to compile a shortlist for interview purposes.
