They may prefer thought to action, and enjoy the challenge of solving problems with sophiscticated technology. These types prefer mentally stimulating environments and often pay close attention to developments in their chosen field.

Look into Law TY programme with The Bar of Ireland

Applications are now open and close on Monday 11th November 2019 for the 2020 Look into Law TY programme offered to 100 successful candidates. This annual programme is an exciting initiative aimed at increasing awareness of, and interest in, a career as a barrister.

The activities include trial viewing; a visit to the Four Courts, King’s Inns, Criminal Courts of Justice; meeting a sitting Judge and Court Garda and participation in a mock trial.

Please note that the nomination must come from the school and only one nomination per school. At least 20% of places are reserved for DEIS schools and students are selected on a completely random basis. Only schools who send in the full details required and within the four week application time will be considered.
