Realist

Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Crowley Carbon to Create 50 Jobs in Enniskerry

Solar energy company Crowley Carbon has announced that it is to create 50 jobs at its Eniskerry branch in Co. Wicklow. The development will bring the company's overall workforce to 250, with employees based at branches in Ireland, the UK, the Middle East and Australia.

The expansion comes as the company commits to increase solar energy production in Ireland by 50%, with a €10 million investment for three projects. Company founder and CEO Norman Crowley expressed his desire to improve Ireland's solar energy efforts, labelling the current output as "quite poor". Crowley Carbon's aim is inkeeping with the overall trend of decarbonising the energy sector, which is a more than welcome development in the country's mission to reach 2030 emissions targets.
