Naturalist

Not surprisingly, some aspect of the natural sciences will run through the Naturalist's interests - from ecological awareness to nutrition and health. People with an interest in horticulture, land usage and farming (including fish) are Naturalists.

Some Naturalists focus on animals rather than plants, and may enjoy working with, training, caring for, or simply herding them. Other Naturalists will prefer working with the end result of nature's produce - the food produced from plants and animals. Naturalists like solving problems with solutions that show some sensitivity to the environmental impact of what they do. They like to see practical results and prefer action to talking and discussing.

The Work - Window Cleaner

Window cleaners wash and polish the windows of houses, shops and large buildings, such as offices and factories. The work involves washing and polishing windows using wash leathers, sponges, squeegees and brushes. Hot soapy water may be obtained from the customer if someone is there or the window cleaner may have to carry his or her own supply. Window cleaners usually need to work on a ladder, or from a cradle or platform when washing the windows of a high-rise building.  
 
Occasionally, window cleaners carry out additional tasks, such as cleaning out guttering on houses or cleaning window frames. They also collect money from customers, and ensure that worksheets are signed to say that work has been completed to a satisfactory standard. Window cleaners have to carry their equipment with them using a car, van, bike or barrow.
