Administrative

Administrative people are interested in work that offers security and a sense of being part of a larger process. They may be at their most productive under supervisors who give clear guidelines and while performing routine tasks in a methodical and reliable way.

They tend to enjoy clerical and most forms of office work, where they perform essential administrative duties. They often form the backbone of large and small organisations alike. They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. They usually like routine work hours and prefer comfortable indoor workplaces.

Why us?

There is the possibility of progression to Universities and IoTs based on performance in QQI Level 5 assessments. In many cases holders of the QQI Advanced Certificate (Level 6) may apply for advanced entry.

Mature students are particularly welcome in Liberties College. Universities and Institutes of Technology recruit at least 15% of their allocation from mature applicants. Mature students (over 23 years) may apply directly for such places through the routes defined by each institution.

In Liberties College around 30% of all students are receiving Back to Education Allowance. These students are in any of our courses who have been unemployed or in receipt of payment through the Department of Social Protection and have made a decision to return to full-time education. VTOS and BEA students continue to receive all their benefits and allowances.

Liberties College offers a range of support services to assist students in the enjoyable and successful completion of their course including Career Guidance and Counselling.

Students are provided with an extensive programme of activities that range from Boxing to Public Speaking, with various competitions, festivals and exhibitions organised by 27 sub-committees.
