Do your best to find out the most you can about your specific engineering category, whether it be Electronics, Mechanical, Civil etc. Approach companies to try and get experience whilst you are at college, that way you have a running start on how to use the most up to date packages and instruments that companies have, and that then gets you the work experience when you finish college.

WHAT ARE YOUR INTERESTS?

Social? 		Social
The Social person's interests focus on some aspect of those people in their environment. In all cases the social person enjoys the personal contact of other people in preference to the impersonal dealings with things, data and ideas found in other groups.

Many will seek out positions where there is direct contact with the public in some advisory role, whether a receptionist or a counsellor. Social people are motivated by an interest in different types of people, and like diversity in their work environments. Many are drawn towards careers in the caring professions and social welfare area, whilst others prefer teaching and other 'informing' roles.

DkIT Family Open Morning (2 of 2)

Details

There will be 2 open days, Friday the 10th November is a general Undergraduate Open Day, while Saturday the 11th of November is aimed at families.

Saturday 11th November 2017 (10.00am - 1.00pm).
Our Family Open Morning will consist of a series of talks, tours of the campus, exhibition centre, and an opportunity to meet lecturing staff.  

Talks start at 10.00am, 11.00am and 12.00noon in the Whitaker Lecture Theatre (Building 1 mark on Campus Map).
All visitors on arrival will receive an information leaflet on exhibition stands and displays.

Exhibition Centre
The main area for individual course information and the opportunity to talk to lecturing staff and DkIT Students
The Exhibition Centre will be set up in the MPC in the Faulkner Building. 
Students will have the opportunity to find out more about all our programmes, and meet with DkIT students and DkIT staff who teach on the various programmes.
