Creative people are drawn to careers and activities that enable them to take responsibility for the design, layout or sensory impact of something (visual, auditory etc). They may be atrracted to the traditional artistic pursuits such as painting, sculpture, singing, or music. Or they may show more interest in design activities, such as architecture, animation, or craft areas, such as pottery and ceramics.

Creative people use their personal understanding of people and the world they live in to guide their work. Creative people like to work in unstructured workplaces, enjoy taking risks and prefer a minimum of routine.

International Olympiad in Informatics

This year the International Olympiad in Informatics is in Almaty, Kazakhstan(25th July - 2nd August 2015) and we will be sending a full Irish team of fourstudents to the competition.

Therefore the top eight senior students from the finals will be invited to the AIPO-IOI training camp (22nd-24th June 2015) here on campus in DCU.

This will be an intensive 3 day camp in the strategies and techniques required to solve problems at the IOI. The best four students from this training camp will be select to represent Ireland at the IOI (fully funded).

We would like to thank Fidelity Investments and DCU for their continued generous sponsorship of this event.
