What are your interests?



Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Advanced Certificate in Applied Social Studies - Level 6

This new Level 6 course is designed to provide an understanding of the many roles of Social Care, to develop the learner’s knowledge and appreciation of the duties involved and skills required to work successfully in a social care setting.

Accounting Technician Apprenticeship

Earn while you learn with the First Accounting Technician Apprenticeship in Ireland. ATI will deliver an Accounting Technician Apprenticeship this September in conjunction with CMETB and Monaghan Institute.

Combilift OEM Traineeship in Engineering & Manufacturing Technology

This Assembly Technician Traineeship is delivered by Monaghan Institute and CMETB in conjunction with Combilift. It is a 47 week programme with 22 weeks of the learners time spent on work placement in Combilift and the remainder spent in college learning theoretical and practical skills for the work place. The traineeship promotes vocational knowledge and preparation along with personal development, offering learners the opportunity to enhance their understanding of the construction of engineering components.
