In this course, you’ll learn how things work and how to apply your imagination to improve and invent the things we use in our daily lives. It’ll give you a sound theoretical knowledge across a mix of disciplines, together with strong practical skills. Subjects covered include everything from Algebra and Geometry, Digital Electronics, Electrical Science and Microprocessor Fundamentals to Computer-Aided Design, Web Technologies and Databases and Object-Oriented Programming.
You’ll work on specially designed projects that bring together the various course subjects. You’ll enjoy well-equipped labs, easy online access to course materials, and on-site support from enthusiastic staff willing to spending time working with you.
Professional accreditation: We aim for accreditation of all of our engineering programmes by Engineers Ireland and are currently engaged in cyclical process of renewal of accreditation for this programme.
On graduation, you’ll be equipped to progress to ordinary & honours degree programmes in TU Dublin or elsewhere.
