A caring attitude is essential for Health and Safety – you need to be passionate about getting the message across to people and telling them why it is so important. After all, no-one wants to see anyone suffer harm or be in pain.

For astronomy, a yearning for answering the unanswered questions is a must. You also need to be dedicated and focused and not put off by the weather

WHAT ARE YOUR INTERESTS?

Realist? 		Realist
Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Course Description

Through this course you will learn the essential skills of environmental construction and civil engineering, which may allow you to progress to construction, architecture and engineering courses in Higher Education or go directly to employment. The course is designed to give learners a firm foundation in the skills required in the Green Architecture/Sustainable Technology sector. It covers a range of topics which are both interesting and relevant in todays market. Elements of the course will contain both theory and practical sessions.
