CareersPortal provides a number of useful resources that support the delivery of work experience in both schools and colleges of further education. The WorkXperience area of this site has been designed for all those involved in delivering a successful work experience:

Students	Registered users can apply for any vacancies published on our workxperience jobs board
Teachers	A guide for teachers who may be unfamiliar with running a work experience programme
Parents	A guide for parents so they can understand and support their child during the programme
Employers	A guide for employers to support them in delivering a quality programme.

To support the programme, we also have available a Diary of Work Experience, which can be used by students to document their experience. This Diary is also very suitable for use as a TY careers project, as it contains a number of additional exercises commonly used in TY. This Diary has also been successfully used for LCVP and FET students.

The Diary of Work Experience is available in both English and Irish versions.
