Working at the top end commercial banking involves a lot of managing long term relationships with contacts in companies. You will be looking after the bank's high value customers, who deal in enormously large amounts of money. But commercial banking can also mean working with small businesses looking to finance more modest investments, building a sustained relationship that delivers increasing returns to the bank as the business grows.
