Career Stories from Ireland

Everybody's career journey is different. As you begin yours, or approach the next crossroads along your journey, you will be faced with new challenges and new opportunities. Taking those challenges, preparing for the next step, and growing your career is all part of normal career development.

In this section you can read about the career development of over 150 Irish workers who have taken the time to tell their story so far. We asked all of our interviewees:

  • about their career and its development
  • about their current job
  • about their education and training
  • about themselves
  • for their advice relating to their current job

Their stories are provided directly and without editing, and provide a unique insight into both the job roles and the career choices made by people from the length and breath of Ireland. Additionally they provide a unique insight into the organisations they work for. Most interviews are also accompanied with videos shot in their workplace - providing yet another insight into the workplace.
